Chevron

These are inspired by the repeating V-shaped patterns carved into ancient Irish Stone, found at sites like Newgrange and Loughcrew. These marks, over 5000 years old, are some of the most common patterns found in Irelands Neolithic Art.

My favourite interpretation from archaeologists is that the chevron represents bird migration across our ancestors skies.
Imagine the sight - hundreds of Cranes returning in spring in those beautiful V formations, a sign of changing seasons - powerful enough for our ancestors to carve into stone.
